The Long Strand in West Cork isn't a bathing beach as it gets deep very quickly and has strong rip currents most of the time.
I took this about 100 metres back from the beach on a bridge over this stream that feeds into the bay. It's the Eastern end of the beach where a surfing competition is held each October.
